Banka and Pioneer Drills As long as there are still inhospitable and isolated areas in the world, the Banka and Pioneer drills are indispensable to explore. Alluvial deposits Mine tailings Clay, bauxite and lateritic iron ore Water bearing layers Deep geochemistry in water saturated soils Geotechnical soil testing Size 4 (4-inch) is mostly used for a scout prospecting of alluvial deposits. Size 6 (6-inch) is used for an evaluation of alluvial deposits and alluvial deposits with low grade or with coarse mineral grains. Size 8 (8-inch) is used for the same as Size 6 but when powered version is necessary.
